Recovering your Michigan Tech account name

1. Select Forgot your User ID? at the Michigan Tech Account Center.
2. Enter your birth date in the Birth Date field. Use mm/dd/yyyy date format or browse the date using the calendar tool.
3. Enter your mobile phone in the Mobile Phone field.
4. Check the box to agree to receive text messages on your mobile device.
5. Click Retrieve User ID.
6. You will see a pop-up message that the User ID has been sent via text to your mobile phone number.
7. You will receive the text on your mobile phone to use one of the following User IDs to log in to your account from the Information Security team. It will list your account name.
