Use this service to request assistance resetting your Michigan Tech password.
Available to
Password resets are available to anyone with an active Michigan Tech account, including current students, faculty, staff, and alumni.
Procedure
Please contact Michigan Tech IT at (906) 487-1111 during normal business hours and our staff will be happy to assist. Note: For security reasons, password resets must be completed either in person or over the phone. If you'd like to request us to call you back, use the Request Service button on this page to provide us your contact number.
You can also reset your own password using the knowledge base article on Using the Michigan Tech Account Center (mylogin.mtu.edu).
If you have forgotten your password and have previously set up your mobile phone or secret questions in the Account Center (mylogin.mtu.edu), refer to the Password Recovery knowledge base article for the next steps.
