Password and account recovery methods

Using the Michigan Tech Account Center (mylogin.mtu.edu)

We have the the site mylogin.mtu.edu to manage your account. If you have previously entered your mobile number or secret questions, you can reset your password, as long as your account is not locked. You can also find your account name if you have previously entered your mobile number in the Michigan Tech Account Center, as long as your account is not locked.

You can use the instructions at set up password and account recovery options and resetting a forgotten Michigan Tech password for further instructions.

If you have not previously set up your mobile phone or secret questions in the Account Center or if your account is locked, you will need to call one of the following university departments during regular business hours; your identity will need to be verified, over the phone, in-person, or during a Zoom session to release your account information.

Contact the Office of Alumni Engagement at (906) 487-2400 to obtain an email account if you did not receive one while attending Michigan Technological University.
