Password and account recovery methods

Using the Michigan Tech Account Center (mylogin.mtu.edu)

You can use mylogin.mtu.edu to manage your account. If you have previously entered your mobile number or secret questions, you can reset your password or find your account name, as long as your account is not locked. Refer to instructions on how to set up password and account recovery options and resetting a forgotten Michigan Tech password.

If you have not previously set up your mobile phone or secret questions in the Account Center or if your account is locked, you will need to call one of the following university departments during regular business hours; your identity will need to be verified, over the phone, in-person, or during a Zoom session to release your account information.
