VPN connection
is required, if off-campus or if using a minimally managed or personal device.
Instructions
Connect to the VPN. Refer to the support article:

Open Microsoft Remote Desktop. If you don't have this installed, you can download it from the
Mac App Store.
Select
Add PC
.
PC Name:
computer or server name (e.g., remote.mtu.edu or computername.ad.mtu.edu).
User Account
: Ask when Required
Select
Add
to save the settings.
Double-click the PC icon to start the connection.
Enter your Michigan Tech account name and password as
MTU\
accountname for the Username field, then select
Continue
.
