Preparations in Google Drive

  1. Log in to Google Drive at https://drive.google.com.

  2. Create a new folder in Drive by selecting the New button in the upper left-hand corner of the interface.

  1. Name the folder after the class (e.g., CS3311).

  2. Locate the newly created folder in Drive and double-click on the folder to open it.

  3. Select the Folder Name.

  4. Choose Share from the pull-down menu.

  5. Select the Advanced link in the lower right-hand portion of the pop-up.

  1. Under Who Has Access, select Changeā€¦

  1. Choose Anyone at Michigan Technological University With the Link. An Access notification will appear in the bottom portion of the pop-up.

  2. Select Save.

  3. Copy the Link to Share web address and paste it in the associated Canvas course.

  1. Repeat this process for each class being taught.
