Scanning multi-page documents (Job Builder)

There are two ways to scan a multi-page document on a Husky Printer.

  • Use the document feeder - Place the pages to be scanned in the document feeder. The printer will save your document as a single file and save or send it to the destination you choose.
  • Use the Job Builder function - This allows you to scan multiple pages using the flatbed scanner on Husky print stations to combine them into a single PDF. This feature is useful for scanning items that do not fit into the document feeder, e.g., scanning pages from a book.

How to use Job Builder

  1. Log in to the Huskyprint station by tapping your HuskyCard at the card reader or entering your Michigan Tech account name and password using Alternate Login.
  2. From the PaperCut welcome screen, select Access Device.
  3. Select Scan To.
  4. Select a destination:
    • To email the file, select Add Me > Select Email and type in the destination email address.
    • To save to a USB drive, select USB.
  5. Start scanning - insert the first page of your scan job and press the Scan button.
  6. Insert the next page of your scan job and press Scan Next Segment.
  7. When you are done adding pages to your scan job, press the Submit button.
