Zoom licensing changes and recording access

Currently active faculty, staff, and students have access to paid features with their Michigan Tech Zoom account. Upon leaving the university, your account will switch to a basic plan. Basic accounts in Zoom (including alumni, former employees, and former faculty) do not have access to recordings.

IT can still recover recordings for these Basic accounts as long as the recordings are within the 120 day time limit before being automatically deleted. For assistance, contact IT at it-help@mtu.edu or call 7-1111.
