Call Director Service

Description

Michigan Tech's Call Director service is an optional feature provided through the University's NuPoint Unified Messaging (NP-UM) system. With Call Director, additional call flow features can be used, such as playing additional messages, performing call transfers, sending pages or texts, etc., while handling calls that cannot be answered in-person. Without Call Director, the NuPoint Unified Messaging System sends an incoming call to the called number's voicemail box.

Available on all Michigan Tech department, office, or faculty/staff voicemail. 

Procedure

Request to have Call Director added and activated by selecting the Request Service button. An IT staff member will set up a meeting with your department representative(s) to discuss the Call Director options and assist your department in designing a call handling system that meets your department's needs.
