Description
Combining Canvas courses can be useful to faculty in cases where you are teaching multiple sections of the same class, multiple lab sections, or if you are teaching cross-listed classes. You will only need to enter content into one Canvas course and maintain one gradebook.
Available To
Faculty needing to combine courses in Canvas.
Procedure
1. In cases where the courses you wish to combine have been created in Canvas and have student enrollment, you can use Course Tools to combine the courses. To combine such courses, please visit the Canvas Support Course Tools page.
2. In cases where the courses you wish to combine have not yet been created in Canvas or do not have student enrollment, Michigan Tech IT can combine the courses at your request. Select Request Service and fill out the form to submit your request.
