Request a change to your Michigan Tech account name when your legal name changes by marriage or other reasons.
Available To
Account name changes are available to anyone whose legal name has changed by marriage or other reasons and who has an active Michigan Tech account.
Procedure
Students with active Michigan Tech accounts requesting an account name change should first contact the Registrar's Office and follow their process to update their legal name in Michigan Tech systems. Once that process is complete, return to this page and select Request Service to request your account name change.
Faculty and Staff requesting an account name change should first contact Human Resources and follow their process to update their legal name in Michigan Tech systems. Once that process is complete, return to this page and select Request Service to request your account name change.
