Creating a Huskycast folder

The Panopto Huskycast video platform provides a robust system for delivering video content to your students.  Whether it is remote lecture capture which is automatically recorded in the classroom or a lecture you record yourself, the system provides a means for uploading and streaming that content to all registered students in your Canvas course.

  1. In Canvas, select the Settings option from the course Navigation on the left.
  2. Select the Navigation tab at the top of page.  Find Huskycast in the inactive list.  Click and drag it up to the active list or click on the Settings icon (three vertical dots) and select Enable.

  3. Select Save at the bottom of the page.
  4. The Huskycast Navigation tool will now appear in the Navigation bar at the left.

  5. Select the Huskycast tool icon.  When you initially touch on this it will create the Huskycast course folder.

    If you are scheduled for remote lecture capture, the recordings will automatically populate into the Huskycast course folder.
    Students will be able to access all content in the Huskycast course folder.
