Clearing your Java Cache

To clear your Java cache in Windows 10

  1. Click Start>Control Panel.
  2. Locate and select Programs.

  3. Locate and select the Java icon.

  4. Click Settings under Temporary Internet Files.

  5. Click Delete Files.

  6. Select all boxes and click OK on Delete Temporary Files window.

  7. Click OK on Temporary Files Setting window.
  8. Click OK to close the Java Control Panel.

To clear your Java cache in Mac OS X

  1. Select Apple Menu > System Preferences.

  2. Select the Java preferences pane.

  3. In the General tab under Temporary Internet Files, select Settings.

  4. In Temporary Files Settings dialog box select Delete Files.

  5. You are prompted to Delete Files and Applications. Make sure all boxes are selected with checkmarks. Click OK.

  6. Select OK to close the Java Preferences window.
