Accessing H: home using SFTP

  1. Open an SFTP client (e.g., FileZilla)
  2. Set the Host to any of the following:
    Enter host name
  • sftp://guardian.it.mtu.edu  
  • sftp://colossus.it.mtu.edu
  1. Enter your Michigan Tech username.Enter username
  2. Enter your Michigan Tech password.
    Enter Michigan Tech password
  3. Enter port 22.
    Enter port 22
  4.  Select QuickConnect.
