Processing gift cards using a Dejavoo P1 terminal

Activate Gift Cards

1. At the bottom of the main screen, select the “star” icon.
2. Choose Gift/Loyalty.
3. Choose Activation.
4. Choose Gift.
5. Enter Activation Amount and select Enter.
6. Swipe new gift card. (Only new gift cards can be activated) 

Balance Check

1. At the bottom of the main screen, select the “star” icon.
2. Choose Gift/Loyalty.
3. Choose Balance Inquiry.
4. Choose Gift.
5. Swipe gift card. The balance will print out on the receipt.

Redeem Gift Cards

1. From the main screen, enter the sale amount and select Enter.
2. Choose Gift.
3. Swipe gift card. The transaction will complete and print out a receipt for the register. You can also choose to print an additional receipt for the customer.

Void Transactions

1. Select the hamburger menu in the upper left of the main menu.
2. Choose Void.
3. If the transaction is on the list, follow the prompts to void the transaction.  If the transaction is not on the list, work with Cash Hub to get the transaction refunded.

Reports

1. At the bottom of the main screen, select the “star” icon.
2. Choose Reports.
3. Choose the report from the list you wish to run.

* At any time, click the Red X icon in the upper right corner to exit a function.
