Residence hall TV lounges
Students in residence halls will be able to view SpectrumU channels in their TV lounges. The attached PDF in this article has a list of channels available.

Residence requirement
Only students in the following on-campus housing will be able to log in to SpectrumU.
- Daniell Heights residents and registered co-tenants
- 209 East Street
- 212 East Street
- 214 East Street
- 217 East Street
- Sustainability Demonstration House
- Honors House
- Hillside Place
Web browser
- Go to watch.spectrum.net.
- Select Sign-In to SpectrumU button.
- Enter mtu.edu as the school domain.
- You will be redirected to Michigan Tech’s SSO page to log in if you aren’t already logged in.
Mobile apps
SpectrumU has mobile apps in the Apple App Store, Google Play Store, and Amazon App Store (choose the SpectrumU app and not the Spectrum app) or you can use a web browser and go to watch.spectrum.net.
Roku
To use SpectrumU on Roku, you'll need to add the SpectrumTV App. Note there is not a SpectrumU app. Once you open the app on Roku and your TV or Roku is on the Michigan Tech Network, you'll get a SpectrumU screen to activate the service. Follow the on-screen instructions for activation. Spectrum will ask you to re-activate every 2 weeks to make sure you still are authorized for the service.
