Manually uploading recordings from Panopto Recorder (Windows)

Panopto Recorder for Windows allows for offline recordings (due to no Internet access, a network failure, or a log in timeout) to be manually uploaded.

Please note that the following steps must be completed from the PC on which the recording was created.

  1. Log into Panopto Recorder and select Manage Recordings.

  2. In the Actions column, select the Upload to Server button for the recording you wish to upload.

  3. In the pop-up window, name your session and choose the Huskycast folder where you want to save the recording.  Note that only folders that you have appropriate access to will be listed. Select the Upload button to send the recording to the server for processing.

  4. While the file is uploading, the Actions column will change to the Status/Link column and will update, either with one or more progress bars to indicate the content is uploading or with updates regarding the status of the content on the server, if the upload is complete.

  5. When processing is complete, the content can be played back by selecting the View button.
