Preventing Teams from auto-launching at login

After Microsoft Teams is launched, it will set to auto-launch as the default when you log in. Use the following instructions if you'd like to prevent it from auto-launching in the future.


  1. Open Task Manager. (Press Ctrl+Alt+Del > select Task Manager.
  2. Expand More Details if necessary, then select the Startup Tab.
  3. Find Microsoft Teams in the list and select it.
  4. Select the Disable button in the bottom right corner of the window.
