Resetting your Banner 8 password

Follow these steps if you've forgotten your Banner 8 password:

  1. Go to the Change Oracle/Banner Password page in Banweb. 
  2. Log in with your Michigan Tech account name and ISO password.
  3. Enter your new password twice and select Change Password.

Banner 8 Password Guidelines

  • Minimum length of 7 characters. Maximum length of 30 characters.
  • Must contain at least one letter and one digit. The only special character that is allowed is the underscore or "_".
  • The new password cannot be the same as any of the previous four old passwords.
  • Passwords are case sensitive, i.e., an uppercase "A" is not the same as lowercase "a".
