Setting Up Your Mailbox in CRM Advise
Link your Gmail to CRM Advise
- Open Experience.
- In the Advisors card, right-click on CRM Advise and choose Open link in incognito window.
- Sign in to Other organization.
- Open CRM Advise Unified View.

- Open Settings by clicking on the gear icon.

- Choose Personalization Settings.
- Open the Email tab.
- Select View your Mailbox.

- Synchronization Method: verify that the Server Profile displays "Gmail Oauth New."

- Select the Sign In To Gmail button.

- A Sign in with Google window will appear.

- Press F12 on your keyboard to open the browser Developer Tools window. If the DevTools window does not open, ensure the keyboard function lock is set for the standard F1-F12 and then press F12 again.
- Select the Network tab.
- With the DevTools window open, complete the Sign in process.
- Enter your email address and select Next.

- A Google Workspace window will open; enter your MTU account name and password.
- A message will appear that says, "Advise wants to access your Google Account"; select Allow.

- A Microsoft Dynamics 365 Error message will appear.

- In Developer Tools > Network tab, locate the request name that begins with “dlg_” and click on it to select it.

- Select (triple-click) and Copy (Ctrl+C) the entire Request URL.

- Paste (Ctrl+V) the URL into Word or Notepad.
- Your cursor should be flashing at the end of the URL.

- If it has a hard return at the end, backspace to delete the hard return.

- In the URL, highlight "&iss=https://accounts.google.com" and press Delete.

- It will look like this. Select (triple-click) and Copy (Ctrl+V) the new URL.

- Open a new tab in the same Incognito session, paste (Ctrl+V) the URL into the address box, and press Enter.
- You should get the following message: "Gmail Authentication Authentication complete."

- The connection between CRM Advise and Gmail has been successfully created. You can now close Word/Notepad.
- In the CRM Advise incognito session, open the Mailbox Information window again.

- Select Test & Enable Mailbox.

- A message will appear explaining that a confirmation email will be sent; select OK to continue.

- You should get a confirmation email.

- You may now close out of the incognito windows and session. You can now send and manage emails in CRM Advise.
