Prevent Event Invites Appearing in Google Calendar

How to prevent Google calendar event invites from being automatically added to Google Calendar

The following instructions will prevent Google Calendar event invites from being automatically added to your Calendar.

1. Go to Google Calendar
2. Select the gear icon in the top-right corner.
3. Select Settings.
4. Select Event settings under General from the list on the left.
5. Select the Add invitations to my calendar drop-down menu.
6. Select When I respond to the invitation in email.
