Follow these steps to access your course materials:
- Log into your Canvas course.
- Locate the "Course Access Materials" link from the course navigation items on the left.
- Your VitalSource dashboard should open and display your course materials.
- Click the "Read Now" button under the course textbook card to begin using the resource
First-time Users
If this is your first time accessing your materials, you will be prompted to create a VitalSource Bookshelf account. This is a one time process for all of your Course Access eBooks. Once completed, you will be able to access all your course materials.
Access Options
After setup, you can access your materials in two ways:
- Directly through your Canvas course
- Through the VitalSource Bookshelf website, app or the Publisher's website if courseware is included.
You MUST access your materials ONCE through your Canvas course to populate the materials in your VitalSource Bookshelf account. Bookmark the VitalSource Bookshelf website for quick access to your materials anytime.
